Does this feel like you?
You Manage Everyone Else. But Who’s Managing You?
You read the room before anyone else. You smooth over moods, adjust yourself, and keep everyone comfortable—while quietly abandoning your own needs.
On the outside, you look like the dependable one. On the inside, you’re exhausted from managing everyone else’s experience while missing your own.
You’ve done the therapy, you know your patterns, and still—when it’s time to act, you freeze. You say yes when you want to say no. You give when you’re running on empty. And you wonder: Why do I keep doing this?
Here’s the truth: you’re not broken. You’re not weak. You learned early on that safety meant keeping the peace.
The next step isn’t more overthinking—it’s learning to feel the “full body f*ck no” and trust it, to recognize the “full body f*ck yes” and let yourself have it, and to build the unf*ckwithable self who knows her worth no matter what.
That’s the work we do together.
I’ve been self abandoning & insecure my whole life. What does it even look like to not be this way?
For many, there was no “before.” Dysfunction was the air you breathed from the start—ignored, unseen, working for scraps of worth and attention. Trauma wasn’t one event, it was life. So when people ask what joy or calm feels like, you honestly don’t know—you’ve never lived outside the grind of proving yourself.
That doesn’t mean it isn’t possible. It means we start differently. Instead of chasing an imagined before, we look at now. We find the moments where you do feel a flicker of calm, connection, or truth—because they’re there, even if fleeting. And then we grow them.
One choice at a time, one experience at a time, you begin building a life your body can say full-body f*ck yes to. Not a perfect life, but one restored to your truth—a foundation of joy, safety, and presence that you create, because you finally believe you deserve it.
That’s the work we do together.
A life-long struggle to say “NO” and mean it. Why can’t I say “NO'“?
You know the feeling—you want to say no, but your stomach drops. Your chest tightens. You worry they’ll be mad at you, or worse, leave you. So you swallow it down and sacrifice yourself to keep the peace.
That’s not weakness—it’s training. Families, society, and survival taught us that our worth comes from self-sacrifice. But here’s the truth: every time you say yes when you mean no, you abandon yourself a little more.
This work is about learning to stand in that moment, feel the no in your body, and let it out without shrinking. It’s about deciding how you want to sound in the world when you’re not managing everyone else’s comfort. Because when you’re always busy cleaning up their messes, you don’t have time to clean up your own.
That’s the work we do together.
Hi, I’m Leslie Brooks. If you’re here, chances are you’re feeling stuck. Maybe you’ve been in therapy for years, and you *know* what needs to change, but taking those next steps feels impossible—or just too painful. Maybe you keep finding yourself in the same patterns, even though you’re ready for something different.
I get it. This phase of healing is hard. It’s messy, uncomfortable, and can feel like you’re walking away from everything you’ve ever known. But it’s also where real growth happens—the kind that leads to a life that actually feels good and aligned with who you’re becoming.
I’m here to help you through that process. Together, we’ll work on calming your nervous system, breaking out of old habits, and building the confidence to trust yourself—without abandoning who you are in the process. This isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about creating lasting change and rediscovering your inner strength.
You don’t have to do this alone. If this resonates with you, let’s connect. I’d love to support you as you take the next steps toward the life you deserve.
I’m Leslie Brooks, and I’m here to support you in breaking free from old patterns, finding calm in your body, and building relationships—and a life—that truly align with who you are becoming.

Leslie has helped me get a hold on my anxiety. She also gave me… how to cope and deal better. I’m in a much better position than I was a year ago most of it rooted from my work with Leslie.

The hurricane, followed by the loss of a family member, triggered a downward spiral, and I felt incredibly scared. Leslie has been exactly the support I needed. Despite being in therapy for most of my life, I still carried a lot of unresolved trauma, and these new events only compounded it. I highly recommended Leslie if you’re struggling too.
